Work From Home Malta

Exciting opportunity for experienced freelance sub-editors to work with Scribol.com, one of the UK’s fastest growing publishers.

The roles will involve working from home, in close contact with the Editor-in-Chief and Content Manager.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Top-level sub-editing skills, including thorough fact checking and copy-editing
• Strong picture editing skills, ideally with knowledge of image editing software
• Ability to multi-task and cope with multiple deadlines, maintaining a consistently high level of quality
• Ability to liaise with staffers and freelancers
• Strong, ideas-led approach
• Knowledge of content management systems and basic HTML
• Interest in subjects as diverse as film, tech, art and design, and US sports
• Ideally NCTJ qualified journalist (or equivalent)

• You’re a fast learner and are open to constructive criticism.
• You have a sense of humour and work well within a team.

COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

Scribol was founded in November 2010 and is a content marketing tool for Tier 1 publishers. The concept was simple: to connect our users to great content and in the process help our publishers – including some of the largest websites on the internet – skyrocket their traffic.

But that’s just the beginning. Times are changing, and we’re creating incredible content of our own – content that will surprise and inspire audiences while informing them about what’s going on in the world. Want to be a part of it?
