Freelance Christian History Expert / Writer
Posted on 8:30 AM by Nathalie
Are you obsessed with Christianity? Not just as a member of a
congregation but as an academic? Have you written essays on the problem
of evil or the impact the Dead Sea Scrolls have on the modern Christian?
Do you know how Constantine changed Christianity forever? Are you
familiar with the birth of the KJV and how it brought the Bible to the
masses?
What about the Ecumenical Councils? Or the 95 Theses? Do you know the difference between an Anglican and a Catholic? A Presbyterian and a Methodist? A Mormon and a Christian? Hopefully yes...and hopefully you know much much more than that. Because we need you, and we need you now.
We're a custom publishing company seeking a strong writer with a Christian background who is well-versed in the history of the Christian faith (both its origins and the road that took it from underground meetings to the most popular religion in the world) to pitch and write several stories for a magazine focused on Christianity.
Special consideration will be given to those who have an academic background, however those who are practicing Christians with a deep knowledge of the ins and outs of the faith and how it has changed (and why) over the centuries are also encouraged to apply.
In addition to the History side of the Christian faith, we're also interested in stories about the lost books of the Bible, the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Miracles of the Saints, exorcisms, the Bible Code and any other mysterious, vexing aspects of things that are associated with the faith itself.
In short, we're looking for an expert who is also an expert writer and storyteller to pitch, research and write several stories for inclusion in a national publication.
Please respond with a resume and a cover letter explaining why you're perfect for the gig.
CONTACT INFORMATION:
Questions/ applications: qbhvb-3952284192@gigs.craigslist.org
Pay: DOE - $1,000+
(No company name is mentioned and this is a Craigslist advert - please make sure not to send too much personal details eg. ID nos, NI nos, personal email (give a yahoo/hotmail etc email), phone nos etc)
