Now Communications Group is searching for freelance copywriters to produce articles about cloud computing, virtualisation and IT. It is highly important that writers have a strong understanding of cloud computing and virtualisation trends. An IT writing background is a major plus. You will be writing for an International supplier of cloud computing that requires engaging and thought-provoking content to publish via an online client-facing digital portal. The target audience is highly technical and very familiar with the cloud, virtualisation, data centres, etc.)

Assignments can include blog articles, press releases, case studies, interviews, Q&As, features, white papers, copy for websites and social media communication.

You will report to an Editor in Charge who will supply you with a comprehensive brief detailing the copywriting task.

Currently between 1-2 articles per month are required and you will be supplied a brief at the beginning of each month. There may be some additional requirements for ad-hoc articles that are topical to issues and industry trends.

REQUIREMENTS:

* A strong understanding of cloud computing and virtualisation trends and how they affect telecommunications, finance and other infrastructure type businesses is essential.
* Keen understanding of how to write for multi-channel media
* Excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation
* Unfailing dedication to meeting deadlines

When applying please supply 4 samples of past work. IMPORTANT: At least 2 samples must cover cloud computing/virtualisation/IT. Please provide the links to where your articles have been published.

COMPENSATION:

The freelance articles you contribute will be 500-600 words in length, and payment is from AU$150 - $300 per article (negotiable).
