Seeking Bloggers/Reporters/ Writers/Economists to write for/manage categories on PayScale.com's Career News blog, the largest salary database in the world.

The Work
* Research trends, news, and events in business/career/salary news
* Monitor newsfeeds, presswires, category specific publications
* Write/edit/publish 2+ daily posts, articles, and news roundups
* Develop category editorial calendar tied to fiscal calendars, seasonality, and current events
* Interact with the PayScale community and promote your content through: PayScale.com, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social media services
* Promote your posts and drive new traffic to our site.

Qualifications
* Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
* Strong knowledge of Web technology and office applications
* Experience publishing text, photos, and videos on the Web as a regular blogger/reporter
* Frequent user of social networking sites with large numbers of contacts/friends/followers
* Addiction to business news, economic news, career advice, education trends, and related media
* Love and deep knowledge of all things career-related

Compensation/Benefits
Contract position. We will evaluate your ability to develop a loyal readership and adjust compensation up/down over time accordingly.
* $500 - $1,000/month to start, part time (depending on frequency of posts)
* Personal brand exposure to a large online audience
* Build your resume and body of published work
* Learn about Internet technology, search engine optimization, social media and Web businesses
