Photography Blogger
Posted on 11:36 AM by Nathalie
* Are you a serious amateur or pro photographer?
* Do you enjoy teaching others how to improve their photography?
* Do you want to have your writing read on a site read by around 5 million readers a month?
If the answer is yes to these questions please read on.
www.Digital-Photography-School.com/ is looking for two feature writers to provide content for its blog on a weekly basis (from 1-3 posts per week - to be negotiated).
Posts need to be of a high quality, display a knowledge of digital photography and include well shot images.
This is a blog aimed at helping beginner to intermediate photographers to improve their photography - there is a lot of scope for different topics including:
- Composition
- Technique
- How to use Gear
- Post Processing
- Specialized Photographic Tutorials on a range of topics (including weddings, portraiture, sports, landscapes, street photography, wildlife etc)
Scan through some of the posts on DPS for the type of posts we're looking for.
Posts will need to be largely 'how to', 'tips' or 'tutorial' based. The more practical the better they will be received by readers.
If you have a high quality image library of your own pictures to use as examples and have a very strong grasp of the English language this will be especially advantageous.

* your name
* a brief rundown of your relevant experience
* at least one sample of your writing on digital photography
* some suggested post titles/topics that you feel you'd be able to cover
* links to where we can see some of your photography
* any other relevant information
Please make this submission by Monday 3rd June.
Note that last time this was advertised we had a large number of applicants and it took some time to process.
Once the cut off date arrives we will collate the responses and shortlist the most appropriate applicants.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to submit a trial post to be used on dPS (you will be remunerated for this) to see how it is received by readers and to let you see if it is a fit for you too.
After all shortlisted candidates trial posts are published you will be notified as to whether your application has been successful. This process will take several weeks.
This is a paid position. The payment package will be negotiated and will include some financial payment (per post) as well as promotion of your own photographic projects in our bylines on our popular site.
