Work From Home Malta

An experienced Web Designer is needed to work remotely for a small US web design company.

We are a small web design company delivering websites to small business, authors, and companies around the US. We are expanding and need to bring on an independent web designer (no companies please) who is creative, hard working, excellent communication skills, enjoys solving problems, and driven to produce high-quality, creative web sites in a timely fashion.

Work from your own location.


Technical Skills

Ability to create, edit and troubleshoot HTML and CSS
2+ years experience with Dreamweaver
2+ years experience with Paintshop Pro and/or Photoshop
An understanding of how to upload sites to servers via FTP
Ability to layout and design information in an effective manner
Ability to create web forms, drop down menus and rollover navigation
Ability to create and/or edit Wordpress, and other Blog sites
Ability to create and/or edit Joomla, and other CMS sites

Programming (not required, but a big PLUS):
Experience with Flash/Swish
Experience with Javascript
Experience with PHP

Primary Deliverables:
A high-quality, functional web site; including layout, styling, navigation, forms, adjusting design file as needed and incorporating 3rd party applications as applicable (photo galleries, etc).

Optimization of images for the web
Creating a Dreamweaver template file
Setting up the individual pages with images and inserting copy
Formatting individual pages with CSS
Uploading site to server
Testing site (download size, speed, link checking etc.)

Compensation: $45/web page
