Los Angeles-based Internet Brands, Inc. is looking for a content editor with a savvy eye for online bargains to post coupon codes and sales to our websites. This is a content production position requiring morning hours and a full-time, 40-hour weekly commitment in a fast-paced environment. Editors can be remote and are considered 1099 contractors.

Los Angeles-based Internet Brands, Inc. is looking for a content editor with a savvy eye for online bargains to post coupon codes and sales to our websites. This is a content production position requiring morning hours and a full-time, 40-hour weekly commitment in a fast-paced environment. Editors can be remote and are considered 1099 contractors.

Responsibilities:
- Find, verify, edit, and publish time-sensitive coupons and deals that appeal to a wide variety of shoppers
- Support a body of assigned merchants across several websites, populating corresponding pages with deals and coupons available from multiple sources
- Provide feedback on site functionality and software used to publish discounts
- Perform special projects as needed, including article development, manuals and other ad hoc projects
- Be a communicative, adaptable, and active member of a remote team

Qualifications:
- Extensive writing or copy editing experience.  (SEO experience desired)
- Thorough understanding of online discount shopping and utilization of coupon sites
- Comfortable with technical aspects of working online: utilizing publishing platforms, employing HTML and photo editing skills, and having a working knowledge of Excel and Google Docs
- A sharp eye for detail, strong organizational skills, ability to adapt to evolving work practices, and proven talent for communicating and prioritizing
- Comfortable working within a daily routine but also able to budget time for side projects as needed
- Available during holidays and some weekends
- Experience with affiliate marketing a distinct advantage
- Ability to work independently, but also within the structure of a team
- College degree preferred
