Foreign Language Content Moderation (Telecommuting)

LiveWorld is a US based Public Company with a 15 year history of providing innovative online social applications and services to its global client base of Fortune 500 companies. Moderation services can include any or all of the following duties as requested by LiveWorld, and according to the policies of the Company and its various clients:
Content Moderation (sweeping of client content which can include message boards, chat boards, user groups, blog entries, videos, pictures, or audio files on either LiveWorld or client platforms. Tasks may include the following:
* Reviewing user content
* Tracking user content
* Taking action on content (such as hiding, deletion, user response, or escalation)
* Tagging user generated content

Brand Response Moderation
* Reviewing user comments
* Respond to comments with pre-determined responses
* Alert Moderation Manager of trends leading to need for new or updated responses
* Escalate as required

Foreign Language Fluency
LiveWorld provides moderation in many languages and defines fluency as complete competency in reading, writing and speaking at a native or near-native level. Language needs vary depending on client needs. Currently all moderator applicants must be fluent in English.

Additionally, we are actively recruiting individuals with fluency in the following languages:
* Portuguese
* Chinese
* Vietnamese
• Thai
• Bahasa (Malay & Indonesian)
• Japanese
* Korean
• Italian
* Ukrainian


Training and Reporting
* Shift reports completed at end of shift, including as required:
* Numbers of posts read, actions taken
* Hot or promotional topics (anecdotal or numerical info)
* Specific client requirements (e.g., merchandise requests)
* Problems and issues
* Escalations
* Familiarity with all training documents
* Participation in live training sessions
* Quality assurance exercises or observation


Required Skills / Traits
* Familiar with social media (including, but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, MySpace etc.) and online community activities/types of content (blogs, video, images, audio, discussion board posts etc.)
* Current and active participation in Facebook fan pages, groups and discussion threads a plus
* Competent typist and computer user
* 18 or older and have good communication skills
* Previous moderation experiences a plus, but not required
* High-speed Internet access a must

* Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends
* Specific foreign language fluency
