Work From Home Malta

Stay Playa Travel is hiring copy writers. The position will involve working remotely therefore it will be necessary to have access to a high speed internet connection and Skype for video conferencing. We are flexible with working hours to some degree but would expect synchronised contact for at least 3 days per week whereby we could work together via Skype. This opportunity would therefore be most suitable for someone looking to work from a home office environment.

Guidance and training would be tailored to individuals on a per project basis. We would start out with relatively straight forward assignments which would build up in scope and complexity as we become more confident in working together.

Tasks will include one or more of the following:
- writing copy (content) for various projects including website, brochures, advertisements and other print design.
- preparation of press releases and responding to journalist requests
- conducting web based research whereby you would gather photographic and editorial content
- developing and supporting marketing strategy once you have an understanding of our business goals
- working with images and video
- working with Social Media and forums.

Assignments will be paid at a fixed price with each assignment fee agreed upfront.

As we are a small company you will get a lot of varied experience and will be expected to help out with a variety of tasks depending on requirements. If this position sounds like something you would be interested in then:

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will:
- be an excellent communicator in English, with a flair for writing
- have a good eye for detail
- be able to think for themselves and show initiative
- have a strong interest in travel
- have a willingness to learn new things and adapt to situations
- be punctual and diligent
- be available for at least 6 weeks
- deliver projects to an agreed deadline

Other useful but NOT essential skills would include one or more of the following:
- experience of print or website design
- marketing and/or social media marketing experience
- experience of working with video (recording, editing etc)
- experience of working with photos (Photoshop, Picassa etc.)
- a knowledge of and experience of working with Google Adwords and Google Analytics
