Lifestyle Writers Wanted (Telecommute)

Lifestyle writers wanted for Holidays website for the categories of
Food and Recipe, Entertaining, Kids and Activities, Crafts, Traditions,
Teacher Ideas, and Travel. We're looking for crafters who scour the web
for the best kids' projects, teachers who want to share their fun
classroom projects and bulletin board ideas, and budding life and style
gurus who want to share their favorite holiday centerpiece or dish.
Recipe writers also needed for our sister site, which is exclusively
recipes and food-related. If you're a foodie that loves making your own
unique creations, or a mom who likes adapting your favorite recipes to
fit your kids' tastes, we want to see your food-related articles and
recipes.
Please submit a sample article as well as 3 pitches related to any of the categories above for any holiday you choose. Article submissions should be 200-500 words in length, written from a first-person point of view.

Pay is based on experience and length/research of article, and is flexible. Range is from $15-30 per article. Please include your pay rate in your submission. If you do not include your pay rate, we will offer you one based on your submission. The high end of the pay rate would be for people who do their own crafts or recipes and take their own photos. If we choose to publish your submission, you will be compensated for your work and we will obtain the exclusive rights to your piece. If we do not publish it, you are free to publish your content elsewhere.
We are looking for reliable writers who can submit content every month. The number of articles accepted each month will be based on performance. Usually our writers submit between 10-40 articles and recipes per month.
Please submit your work in Microsoft Word format, using the following guidelines. Note: If your article is not submitted according to the specifications below it will not be considered for publication.
1. Name the file as follows: lastname-keyword.doc ("keyword" meaning the main
topic of your article/recipe)
2. Format the document as follows:
a. Left-align your text
b. Use single spacing
c. Add a blank line between paragraphs
d. Don't indent the first line of paragraphs
e. Please include an image with your submission. You must either own the rights to the image, have permission to use the image, or cite the image correctly according to Web guidelines.
3. Author Bio
Please include a brief bio (two to three sentences) with your submission, which will be included
if we publish your article.
4. Pay rate: is negotiable based one experience and type of content. Please include your rate of pay with your submission.
