Sound Editor (Work FromHome)
SOUND EDITOR needed for a large US oral history library.
No prior job experience required, but we do ask that you send a “before & after” sample of repairing/editing audio work you have done. Every sound file in the oral history library contains two people having a discussion, often over the phone, with static/hiss and/or low volume on the interviewee. We're looking for someone who can get rid of the static/hiss as much as possible, and raise the volume of the interviewee without the sound quality suffering too much. Fee will be negotiated but nothing less than $10 per hour of work, and there are hundreds of files that need repair/editing. Again, please send us your contact info and a sample of a “before & after” sound file that you worked on.
You will be paid per assignment, this is not to be interpreted as 9-5 work week employment. Your skills will be utilized on an AS NEEDED basis over an extended period of time.
To clarify, “Before” refers to a sample of audio that contained flaws when you received it. “After” refers to the sample of audio once it has been through the repair/edit process.
- Location: telecommute
- Compensation: Negotiable, nothing less than $10 per hour of work
- Email: job-dwwsu-2097114836@craigslist.org
