Internet Assessors (Work From Home)

Posted on 8:21 AM by Nathalie

Lionbridge Technologies, Inc. is a very reputable company and they are currently seeking Maltese Internet Assessors to work from home.  I am currently working for this company and I can say that they do pay and always on time.  The last time they were hiring Maltese Assessors was around 2 years ago, so this is a one time chance to get in with this company.
They recruit home-based workers and university students from around the world who are bi-lingual in English and their native language to join their Internet Assessor team focused on improving the quality of internet user experience.

The Rater's role involves evaluating results of a web search, for appropriateness to search query input.  Participants will be required to provide their opinion of the result displayed based on a set of guidelines we provide. Hours of work are flexible.  The recommended hours of work are 10-20 hours per week.  Interested candidates must first successfully complete an exam before being accepted into the Rating Program. The exam consists of two sections: Section 1 has 24 theory questions and Section 2 consists of 270 practical exams.  More detailed information will be provided in the study material.

I just want to add that in my time, and most probably it still is the same now, you are paid for the exam and volume of work varies but speaking from my personal experience, I rarely manage to reach 10 hrs a week. I see this as a good 'on the side' job because although presently it does not require many hours, I am sure it will increase by time.

Do not hesitate to ask any questions if something is not quite clear.
