I recently came across the site IMShopping and found it interesting and different. IMShopping is a site where people ask questions related to shopping and the Shopping Assistants answer the questions, and add suggestions with the website's special 'bookmarklet' that allows you to add items to your answers.
For instance, if someone is looking for an inexpensive Gucci Bag. you do your research and offer some good options for her/him to choose from together with a short description.

You would start out as a Community Member, and answer questions (around 50-80 words is ok). If your answer is voted 'Best Answer', you get $2.00. When your account balance reaches $40.00, you can then transfer them to your Paypal account or choose a gift card or prize.

After a few weeks of regular participation and are doing well, you will have the option of becoming a Shopping Assistant, where you are employed as a Contractor. Shopping Assistants are guaranteed pay for every question answered, and bonuses for answers that are marked 'useful' or winning 'Best Answer'. They are going to have a link in the next 2 weeks on the site that says "Become a Guide" and you can click that and be considered.

These are the guidlines to be considered for Shopping Assistants:

• You must be active once a week for four weeks

• You must ask 2 questions minimum (or as many as you want)

• You can Answer questions for Money as a community member

• You need to use their 'bookmarklet' (add to imshopping) and add products at least 2 times

• You will have the opportunity to become a guide if they see that you are good at this type of thing in a few weeks

One last thing, it is okay to answer questions that have already been answered. If there is only one answer to a question, there is nothing to compare it to, and therefore is not eligible for 'Best Answer'. You can't answer the same question twice, or answer a question that you ask.
